About this display
Display your U.S. coins alongside a sculpture of George Washington crossing the Delaware, inspired by Emanuel Leutze’s iconic painting of Christmas night, 1776. Figurine includes american flag.
Washington stands in the wooden boat among ice, oars and riverbank, wearing the tricorn, cloak and Revolutionary uniform of the commander who led the Continental Army toward Trenton. A coin platform is set in his hand, so a Washington quarter — or another U.S. coin — can rest in the scene that made him a national symbol.
Aurea Displays connects the physical coin with the artwork, symbolism and history of Washington’s crossing, the turning point that led to the Battle of Trenton.
This display is particularly suited to pairing a Washington quarter with the first president it portrays.
The holder can be tailored to your coin’s diameter and thickness. Other U.S. denominations can also be accommodated.
Please provide your coin’s diameter and thickness in the personalization field so the holder can be adapted to your chosen coin.
The pose, boat and ice are inspired by Leutze’s painting of the Delaware crossing. It is an artistic interpretation, not an official U.S. Mint product or museum replica.
The coin shown in the photographs is for display purposes only and is not included.
Coin dimensions vary between denominations and types. Please provide the diameter and thickness of the coin you intend to display when ordering.
