About this display
Give your Buffalo nickel a distinctive setting with this sculptural coin display. A standing Native American figure wears a horned buffalo headdress and holds a spear, while an integrated platform presents your coin beside the figure.
Made to order in three heights, with a holder that can be adapted to your coin’s dimensions. Includes one display; the coin is not included.
Choose your preferred statue height from the available options.
For a tailored fit, enter your coin’s diameter and thickness in millimetres in the optional personalization field. You can also include its denomination and year.
The display is especially suited to Buffalo nickels, also known as Indian Head nickels. Holders can also be adapted for cents, dimes, quarters, half dollars and dollar coins.
Larger coins may cover more of the figure. If you plan to display a large dollar coin or an unusual size, send a message before ordering so we can discuss the fit and proportions.
James Earle Fraser’s Buffalo nickel, introduced in 1913, pairs a Native American portrait with an American bison. This sculpture brings those two visual themes together through a standing figure wearing a buffalo headdress.
The full-body pose, headdress and spear are artistic additions to the coin’s imagery. The sculpture is a creative interpretation rather than a reproduction of a specific person or tribal outfit.
Displayed on a shelf, desk or in a cabinet, it connects a favorite coin with the imagery that makes its design memorable.
Fine printing layers and small variations in surface finish may be visible. Handle the spear and horn tips gently, and lift the display by its base.
The coin shown in the photographs is for illustration only and is not included. This listing is for the physical, 3D printed display.
