About this display

Display your U.S. coin alongside a full-body sculptural interpretation of Liberty inspired by a candidate obverse design for the 2026 Semiquincentennial U.S. Constitution quarter.

This custom coin display reimagines the proposed seated Liberty design as a three-dimensional sculpture. The figure is shown actively building the foundation of the United States, brick by brick, with olive branches incorporated into her hair as a symbol of peace.

The sculptural composition includes Liberty, her torch, hammer and chisel, foundation stones and classical drapery. These elements create a strong connection between the displayed coin and the ideas of liberty, construction and nation-building represented by the original concept.

The integrated coin platform is positioned beside Liberty so that the coin becomes part of the composition without covering the main sculpture.

Rather than displaying your coin on a generic stand, Aurea Displays connects it with an unusual proposed design from the 2026 Semiquincentennial coin-design process.

PROPOSED SEMIQUINCENTENNIAL LIBERTY DESIGN

The 2026 Semiquincentennial coin program commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States with special one-year coin designs dated 1776–2026.

Among the proposed designs for the U.S. Constitution quarter were CQ-O-01 and CQ-O-01A. Both depicted Liberty actively building a foundation for the United States, brick by brick.

These designs were reviewed during the U.S. Mint’s advisory process but were not selected for the final circulating quarter. The final design unveiled by the Mint was a different Liberty concept.

This display preserves the character of the unselected candidate design as a full-body sculptural interpretation. It is inspired by the proposed artwork and is not an official U.S. Mint product or reproduction of a circulating quarter.

SYMBOLISM OF THE DESIGN

The proposed design presents Liberty as an active participant in building the nation rather than as a purely static allegorical figure.

The foundation represents the country’s constitutional structure and continuing development. The hammer and chisel suggest construction and deliberate effort, while the olive branches represent peace.

The full-body sculpture extends the original coin concept into three dimensions, allowing the figure, tools and foundation to be viewed from multiple angles.

DESIGNED FOR U.S. COINS

Although the photographed version is proportioned around a quarter-sized coin, the holder can be custom-made to fit virtually any U.S. coin.

Suitable coins include:

  • Half cents
  • Large cents
  • Small cents
  • Two-cent and three-cent pieces
  • Nickels

For coins displayed inside capsules or protective holders, please provide the external dimensions of the complete item.

HISTORICALLY INSPIRED DESIGN

The sculpture is inspired by the proposed CQ-O-01/CQ-O-01A obverse designs considered for the 2026 Semiquincentennial U.S. Constitution quarter.

The seated Liberty, olive branches, torch, hammer, chisel and foundation imagery have been translated into a full-body three-dimensional display.

The result connects the physical coin with the proposed artwork and the historical ideas of liberty, constitutional foundations and nation-building behind it.

MADE FOR COIN COLLECTORS

The coin rests naturally on the integrated platform rather than being glued, clamped or permanently attached.

Because coin dimensions vary between denominations, dates, minting methods and individual pieces, each holder can be prepared around the specific coin you intend to display.

The result allows your coin to become a focal point while keeping the complete Liberty sculpture, tools and foundation clearly visible beside it.

PLEASE NOTE

The coin shown in the photographs is for display purposes only and is not included.

This sculpture is an artistic interpretation inspired by proposed U.S. Mint candidate designs. It is not an official U.S. Mint product, and the CQ-O-01/CQ-O-01A design was not selected for the final circulating 2026 quarter.

For the most accurate fit, please provide the exact diameter and thickness of your coin when ordering. Measurements should include any capsule or protective enclosure if you intend to display the coin inside it.
