About this display

A standalone Liberty statue inspired by Augustus Saint-Gaudens’s design for the U.S. twenty-dollar gold piece, struck from 1907 to 1933. Liberty strides forward with a torch and olive branch, the composition that made the Saint-Gaudens double eagle one of the most admired coins in American history; this figurine translates that full-figure relief into a freestanding sculpture.
