Display 1 to 3 denarii or other small ancient coins in a made-to-fit Roman coin display stand. Each Aurea Displays piece combines a historically researched figure with coin holders sized to the diameter and thickness of your coins.

The figure is created using surviving busts, sculptures, coin portraits and historical descriptions wherever these sources are available. The aim is to create a recognisable, historically informed representation rather than a generic Roman figure.

Each display is 3D printed in PLA and made to order. The coins rest directly in their holders without glue, adhesives, metal clips or permanent attachments.

PLA has been used in our own displays with ancient coins without observed marking or visible reaction to the metal. The holders are designed so that the coin rests naturally in place rather than being clamped or fixed.

Because ancient coins vary considerably in diameter and thickness, the coin seats can be tailored to the individual coins they are intended to hold. This creates a more precise fit and makes each display unique to the collection it was made for.

Please provide the diameter and thickness of each coin when ordering. Weight can also be provided but is not required to size the holder.
